OUR WORK TOGETHER
If you are one of those people who like to know everything there is to know about someone before letting them in on your business, then we’re on the same page (pun intended!).
I assume you have already read about who I am, so here I want to explain the philosophy at TransLABtion and how we will work together.
PHILOSOPHY
You will have my personal attention in order to determine exactly what you need.
We will have a meeting or I will send you a questionnaire in order to get to know you and your audience better, which will help me determine the right tone, register
I will elaborate briefing materials for each of your projects to ensure your instructions and wishes are followed.
I work with English, Spanish, Portuguese and German because those are the languages I speak. I only take projects into Spanish myself, but I’m in touch with trusted colleagues who are native speakers of the other languages. This gives you the option of having your text in any of those languages, but with my personal quality check before final delivery.
My colleagues and I only work in areas that we know well in order to produce text that is clear, understandable and attractive for your audience. When a linguist knows what you’re talking about, you don’t need to spend that much time answering questions and the final result will be better.
I believe in the “

7. ALMOST DONE!
I will send you the final version of the text, and you will have one week to make revisions and changes.
8. BUT NOT QUITE YET
After the revision week, consider my work… NOT done—I still need to check the text once you have implemented it on your website/landing page/flyer/etc. to make sure the result is outstanding.

Once I have checked everything looks good, you can consider my work done!
